DIY Utilibridge

I bet the Tethrd folks are gathered in a room, reading this thread and laughing their asses off!
maybe....lol

I love DIY guys.

Let me just be the Safety Sally here and say MAKE SURE YOU ARE TESTING EVERYTHING AT GROUND LEVEL and you are building everything according the manufacturers (Samson) specifications. They have some guidelines regarding bury length that are pretty important.

No bridge is worth getting hurt over.

Greg! Hook us up with some instructions.

Got it. I don’t think there will ever be a “Tethrd” sponsored video on how this is done. @g2outdoors is correct lawyers suck. .

I just completed my first amsteel project. I did a version of this soft shackle: locked brummel on one end full length bury and integrated the soft shackle into the "tag end". I'm going to have to spice the prussic loop tomorrow.

My hands are tired.

I’d like to see a thread where guys post videos of them attempting the prusik spliced into the bridge loop and then wrapping the prusik around the bridge. Not because I need to see how to do it, just for pure entertainment purposes. Those of you that have tried know what I’m talking about.

I'm still leaning towards a loop on the end instead of a stopper knot and then connecting that back to the saddle (caribiner or soft shackle). So how would you do that? Leave the full length bury just short and then make the loop and bury the end back to where the other bury ends?

I would prefer to terminate in a loop as well

A small 2” loop would be good for me
