I got a used bow this year and I keep the old 1 and hand it down...I pulled it out over the weekend and took 1 shot at 30.... It's still good 2 go in case disaster happens

Absolutely have a back up. The one time in needed one, I didn’t! lol my bowtech delaminated in late August a couple years ago. Ended up buying a mid grade Hoyt until it came back. Now I have 2 bows. Triax and Vertix. In case something happens I won’t miss a day in the woods.

I kept a spare when I was doing a lot of hunting and traveling to Ohio. When I seriously injured my left arm I sold both of them and now I regret it as today I started putting together my first compound bow since the injury & corrective surgery

I treated myself to a new bow (Obsession FX30) at the end of last season. I decided to just buy all new accessories and keep my 10 year old Bear ready to hunt as a back up. I still try to shoot the Bear from time to time just in case I need to use it in a pinch but the difference in bow tech 10 years can make is amazing.
