Does Anybody Hot Tent?

I haven’t done the hot tent thing, but it crossed my mind after spending $500 bucks on a place to stay for five days last fall while on an out of state hunt.

What are some good brand tents and stoves?
I’m usually solo and try to be a minimalist, so I wouldn’t need a huge tent.

It’s tough to beat a Kodiak Canvas tent for the money The flexbow tents are easy and fast to set up I am probably gonna get a 10 x 10 to add to my gear If you hunt away from home they pay for their selves pretty quick Plus I just like to camp and hunt I work four ten hour days these days so I do lots of long weekends As far as stoves go I am a Southernboy so my opinion would be based on way less experience than some of these other guys

I got a small utility trailer that I am gonna convert into a tenting camper Gonna put a shower with a hot water heater and a pull out kitchen Store my tents and necessities I was gifted a diamondback hd truck bed cover and plan on using it for the top giving me plenty of space tie down extra stuff and will add a hitch for my e-bike Be nice to just grab my clothes and take off for the weekends

I live in Florida, most of the time I set up a tent, it's hot.

That's why I'm fixing to build some hammock camping setups, tired of hot boxing it lol.
Leaving for a camping trip later today with the wife and two of her friends. Temps are supposed to be mid 90's with heat index up around 105-106 for the weekend. Staying at a campsite with electric hook ups so the wife amazoned some sorta air conditioner that looks more like a jumbo space heater. Not sure how that is going to work in a tent but will have multiple fans too.

I don't camp down here, without very good and compelling reasons from Memorial Day to Halloween.

I reserve that time for even stupider ideas, like landscaping and attic work.

This is the reschedule date. Original plan was in May but bad storms and tornado's killed that plan.
