Does it get any worse ?

I need help guys. Someone talk me out of ending it all haha

So this morning I watched my VXR fall 25ft (and also bounce off a climbing stick)

From what I can tell I didn’t bend any cams and riser, sight, stabilizer all look fine.

Here’s where it gets bad, got a pretty good gouge in my limb... has anyone else done this? And is there a chance I didn’t destroy $1400?

Can these new bows take stuff like this? Or are they like everything else and aren’t “built like they used to”

Back to your question: By all means.....take it to a dealer for a "once over". You will have confidence that it will hold up at the moment of truth.
Good luck, and I feel for you!

A few years ago on the first day of archery season I dropped my Mathews Z7 out of the tree 30' up before first light. Hit a screw in step on the way down which jumped the cables. Some big scuffs on the limbs too but nothing broke. Spent most of the day going to the shop to get it fixed and then sighting it in again, but made it back out hunting that same evening. That bow still shoots great. Keep the faith, you might have to spend a few bucks but your bow will be fine!

Just Red Green that sucker up!!

I agree 100%. What does anyone else care what I spend my money on? They didn't earn it or pay the bill.

It drives up costs by showing that customers are willing to pay outrageous prices for new bows with the same old technology with a reskin.

I got my new Mathews bow, my Sitka gear, all matching camo pattern, brand new truck parked in the lot with all kinds of awesome stickers and deer siluets, but there is 30% chance of rain in an hour. Can't hunt in that. Don't wanna ruin my stuff.:tongueclosed:

To each there own. This is America. Land of the free. (Hope it stays that way)

Personally I willing to spend more on a bow setup than I am my rifle and scope. My bow sees the woods 100 times a year (in all conditions) and I shoot it all offseason (at least when there's not snow). My rifle may see the woods 6 times a year and if I'm really ambitious it may fire 3-4 rounds a year. For the record though, it has only fired 3 rounds in the last 4 years.

It doesn't look too bad to me. take a few shots and see if it's still shooting on target.
I climbed a tree before first light, I had a bow hanger on my stand so I stuck it in the holder and started to get settled in when I heard a pop and my bow hit the ground. I don't know if I put my bow in wrong because it was dark but I junked that holder. The good thing is I shot a nine later that morning.
