Does anyone know of an organization that does hunts for folks who may not otherwise be able to? I have a lot of barely worn really good older Camo outfits (mostly later season stuff) that I would like to donate to someplace. I good bit of it is scent lok stuff that I no longer use. XL and XXL stuff. I have been upgrading over the past few years and want to get this stuff out of the closet.
If it is the right organization I will pack it up and ship it to them

Usually the DCNR has organizations they work with if you want to donate right to them and they are supposed to get it to the correct organization. Usually when tree stands are removed from public land or private land where they are not supposed to be the game commission passes those along to these types of organizations. I had found out BHA has a mentor program to get kids and folks into hunting, fishing and camping which I am now a part of as a mentor and it does a good job getting people out in the woods. You likely have a local BHA chapter that you could donate too in your area.

The NDA has been really pushing their mentor program, maybe you could contact your closest local branch and see if one or more of the mentors in your area would want to take it, in the event they could use it with someone they are working with? Then maybe you save the shipping and it goes to someone local, who would use the same clothes for your climate.

I know Cabelas/Bass Pro run promos if you trade in lightly used boots, clothes maybe, etc. you can save some on the sale item, and then they donate the goods to some kind of hunting charity. Not as altruistic as straight up donating but if ever you’re buying new gear anyway and looking to donate, maybe can kill two birds with one stone.

You probably know people in your community or maybe co-workers or whomever who could use your older gear. I've done that a few times to people I know that love to hunt but don't necessarily have all the things.... they usually take it with great appreciation too.

If you haven’t decided on an organization, check out Hope Outdoors. They have a website. They take special needs children hunting.
