Double sit drag..

I like your design on this. Is 7/64ths amsteel sufficient in this application?
I think so...dont know the exact specs of 7/64th amsteel but I'm sure it's up to the task. For me the mental game gets in the way....hanging from tiny looking string just creeps me out!

I copied @George Clark.
Speedy Stitcher all the way.
It already had the rigging belt from when it was by itself.
It has two 1/8” amsteel Whoopi slings till I figure out what length I want to go with.

Looks great! Doesn't look real fancy, but soooooo comfy.

Two sit drags together may be as comphy as an Anderson sling but I wouldn't sew them together so you can move them up and down. I like to be able to move one up my back or farther under my butt to make more comfortable.

The nice thing about sewing it together is it only takes five minutes to cut out if I don’t like it.

Does anyone have experience using the two sitdrags independently of each other similar to how the recon sling is instead of sewed together? Care to share how you connected the two?

Use carabiners and clip both sitdrags and a bridge on each side.
I tried it with pretzel rings but I really didn’t care for it.

See you in a tree, Ricky

I dind't like two sitdrags used "anderson sling" style. I sewed them together and liked it better. I ended up with 11" wide saddle. I think I would prefer narrower so I may try that after some more testing.

What didn’t you like? You would still be able to lay them over one another like you did in your sewed version.

I didn't give it much time, but I thought the 2 sit drags were too big to act like an Anderson or a Treehopper. Didn't like them flopping around. Mind you I am still wanting to try a Treehopper sling.
