I support EWO as well. They aren’t always the cheapest option; however, the service is phenomenal and worth the extra price(if it’s not the same price or cheaper) for the items I buy, in my opinion.
Im not surprised that costs are rising. I work in International Logistics and deal with companies importing products (retail goods as well as raw materials) and demand for vessel space has outpaced the supply; therefore, transportation costs have increased. For example, we have retailers that used to pay $3,500 to get a full container of goods shipped to certain areas of the US from Asia that are now having to pay $20k+ to ensure it gets here even remotely close to “on time”. As costs have been rising for several months now, it’s only a matter of time until that has to be passed on to the consumer.

Truth. I’m in the industry as well.
People threatening “there will be no Christmas” if we don’t offer lower rates.
Luckily I don’t shop Wally World very often.
