"FASTENING" your ring of steps

The steps themselves are good. I just don't care for the ocb/strap. I know they're pretty popular, maybe I'll come around some time. I think the one i have is pretty loud when snugging it up to the tree and I'd like the sweet spot to be more forgiving before/when camming over.
loud like clacking or loud like scratching on tree..? I am not a fan of ropes for steps, webbing is more sturdy for slipping or popping I’ve used both. For ROS I like the toggle idea w/ webbing I’ll be using that.

Loud like the strap has some texture to it so if you pull it through too fast it makes kind of a zip noise or maybe like corduroy rubbing together. A smoother strap would probably fix the issue

Of all the ocb s I agree that tree hoppers is the best!
A agree that it's probably the best, my only issue with it is the weight. That's the only reason I switched to the EWO OCB. If I was only hunting off the ROS i probably would have stuck with the TreeHopper OCB. I'm only using the ROS in conjunction with my 1stick or platform.
