What say you?
I’ve only tried my ridge runner with a 3 step aider. It works really well because of the attachment method. I put the platform up and attach it and get the strap tight. Then when you step into the aider it cams the whole thing down hard. It’ll stay tight until you take your weight off. I sit down and run my arm through the aider so I can’t drop it, and when you un cam the platform, the strap is loose enough you can usually pop it off without loosening the cam buckle. What say you?

Ive found the aider is easiest to use when attached to about the middle of the platform depth wise. And you need at least a 3 step because when you cam it down you lose 12-15” of height
I built it myself. Really easy to do. I used this Chinese climbing rope. Can you send link for your aider by chance?
If you prefer a stick with a scout platform attached, id like to hear about that too
How are you climbing with your tree suit? Do you have the original strap on it?Treehopper Treesuit and 3 step aider. Very nice!
I'm curious, why not just climb with the LWHC?LWHC with two step amsteel aider.
Before that I used two of my old klemz platforms with the same two step aider.

heres my ridge runner
Nah it’s not too bad, when you un cam the platform you can pop it off the button pretty easily. This is because the buttons are small on this platform. I may jump out and make a video on it todayI almost bought one of these last night to use as you do, but decided to wait a bit and see what’s new on the market this year. I may revisit, and think it’s a smart setup.
Are you finding it hard to strap from move to move? That was one reservation I had. I do see Red Beard platform climb on a solo scout without too much trouble, but I just wasn’t sure how that would go for an average climber in the dark with the bigger platform.
I had even wondered if adding a cam cleat and button for attaching a rope might be possible and make move to move connection easier, but you’d not be camming it as specified and...no need to mess with it if it’s working fine as is.
Thoughts?
