Favorite Ridge Runner Mod

I think its been mentioned before that some guys thread a piece of 550 cord thru the center of the big nut.

I havent tried it. I would hate to get to the tree and not have that nut.

Good idea for those that use it. I found that I keep the nut screwed in almost fully and keep the platform at s downward angle on the tree. It is more comfortable for me that way and I don't have to worry about the nut falling out. I didn't even touch it the last 6 hunts of the season.
