Congrats! I got my first bow kill last year. Feels good to finally get it done huh.

Yeah it's been almost two full seasons of trying to get one with a bow. I have had dozens of opportunities to kill does just always waited for a buck and I told myself I was just going to take whatever came the other day. It feels great, kind of like a weight has been lifted and has given me some confidence as well

That is definitely the feeling! I still have it this season unfortunately. Haven’t punched a tag yet. Focused too hard on getting my friend on a deer early in the season, which I succeeded at, he just botched the shot. But now I’ve been paying for it. Haven’t made it out as much as I wanted to either which doesn’t help.

Nothing like your first archery kill, and the smile says it all. You'll never forget it!! That's a big doe too. Congrats! Great work!!

No harder way to kill a whitetail than with a bow in my opinion, great job!!!

We always say every year after our first harvest of the season... "Now the pressure's off!" I know exactly what you mean.

Congrats on your first archery kill! Nice big doe and good job posing her up for the photo op.
