Just wanted to thank all of you guys. Started hunting last year at 33 and am the only one in my family. Learned a ton from all of you and got it done this year. He isn’t a giant but my first deer is a 7pt in NJ. I’m a life long saddle hunter and life long hunter from here on out.

Congratulations. Where in NJ do you Hale from?
 
That's awesome. I started "seriously" hunting late 20s. Had some exposure as a wee lad with my distant family, but really been on my own as an adult. Kinda gave up trying to convince my friends. Glad to see your work pay off! Keep at it.
