Yesterday I took this nice Rhode Island 10 pointer from my Tethrd Mantis using my Muzzleloader! For those asking if you can hunt from the saddle with a gun the answer is yes! In fact I believe if I weren't in my saddle I wouldn't be been able to get this deer, but that's not to say I couldn't of gotten him with my bow either!

I had to wait for him to actually move farther away from my tree before I could shoot as he was nearly at the base of my tree when I first saw him. I saw him look up at the tree I was in but because I was on the back side of it he never saw me! Once he got about 15 yards away from the tree i took the shot, and he was on his death run for about 30 yds.

Totally stoked!
