Yea thorns will still cut into you with those pants but the small stuff that would lightly scratch your leg won’t bother ya. I moved to a pair of gaiters and it was a game changer for me. No junk in your boots, ticks can’t find there way in, and tough enough to push through even more brush. Down side is they are hotter since it’s another layer over your calf/leg.
