First hunt in a saddle

That deer is huge..... I'm used to our "German Shepard" sized deer down here...lol

Congratulations. I also had my first saddle hunt today. I was so pleased with myself just getting up into the tree with one stick, that I was going to call it a success even if I didn't see any deer. Just before dark, an 8-point walked in, and now he's hanging in my garage. I think I could get to like this saddle hunting! And the guys on this forum are great. You probably found the same thing,.

Congrats on your buck. I was nervous the first time setting everything up but it does get easier the more you practice. Everyone on this forum are helpful.

Congrats on the first saddle deer guys!! It does get easier with practice and you will be more comfortable when you learn to trust your gear. Just never get complacent.
