I tried my phantom tree for first time in my basement on a pole with winter camouflage on(which is like a big snowmobile suite) . I didn't try on a tree because I was in a car accident so I have to get a another car(not injured).

My biggest worry about the phantom was being comfortable! From my experience it is a comfortable tree saddle job well done by tetherd. I Strongly recommend that buying the Recliner(back STRAP) it makes a huge difference from experience. I did not feel a difference in the channels. I love the bridge it's the best.

The recliner is the best very comfortable and easy use i plan on buying one for a
Areo kestral flex tree saddle. You do have to adjust it more make sure cups your butt. Terherd closened the gap with the areo hunter kestral flex for comfort and it's less wieght.
I didn't buy the ropemens 1 ascender for the phantom tree saddle. I bought the phantom for my 12 yr son I also planning on useing it myself. Should I by the ropemen 1 ascender is easy to put on i am not a DIY guy
Or it safer wihout it.

Absolutely, buy at least 1 for your lineman belt. It's a luxury on the tether but nice to have. I think they are on sale right now on amazon. Another member posted a link and I think they are ~$33. Very good deal

What do you use to climb. If you use a hand climber or one stick then you don’t use a lineman belt unless going over limbs so you won’t need one. I one stick and use a ropeman on my tether

Not recommend but could hunt of some slanted trees with that one it really grips the the tree. I fell out of a tree with a lockon tree stand
