I’m new to saddle hunting and just put together my sit drag saddle!! I’m liking it so far. I’m actually typing this hanging in a tree from my saddle. I can’t give much advice to any other newbies but I will say, go ahead and test out your equipment (close to the ground). By “test out” I mean lean back and point your feet to the sky!! I already feel 10 times more comfortable now that I got that out of the way. I know the ropes will hold, they are rated for crazy amounts but my biggest fear was leaning back to much and sliding out. If you have any questions about my setup just ask!

Do not attempt this 20,15,10 feet in the air. Just off the ground is enough.

I haven’t figured out how to fall out of one yet. Pleased to see you testing your equipment!
