Shot my first public land deer yesterday afternoon and she was also the first deer from my saddle. She was 15 yards quartered away and she went 50 yards. And before anyone says anything I’m hunting Florida public land so she’s not the biggest thing ever. She weighed 90 lbs which isn’t bad For Florida

Good luck! It took me quite a few sits to get it done. Archery opened here on September 19 and closes next weekend. And you can’t shoot does here after tomorrow so I barely got it done.
Good job.....

Not sure ur location but if u anywhere near Northeast FLA....look at the regulations for camp blanding archery only areas.....u able to take doe up into Jan....good luck

I have hunted blanding several times this year. I was always confused about that because the brochures read like you can kill does into January but state wide dates are different. I don’t know which one to go by so I always go by the state wide dates to be safe
