With a 2 year old and a 2 week old at home, I've not been able to get out at all this season. But today the stars aligned and while both kiddos were asleep the wifey let me sneak out to a little parcel 5 minutes down the road. It was awesome to get some much needed fresh air and scout around on a piece of property I've never been on before. With only an hour to kill I wasn't expecting much but I figured I would take the stickbow out for the chance at some small game. I was lucky enough to harvest my first critter with my longbow and even found a cool skull in my short outting. Gotta love it. Thanks to all for getting me started in Trad. I'll never look back

Been there before with the kids. It’s tough when you have such a passion for the outdoors but I have my 2 yr old “shooting bucks” in the living room these days. Enjoy the time out and sometimes it’s a nice reset

Absolutely. Between the 3D target in the yard and the the wall mounts in the loft, my 2 year old has killed a pile of em.

Great job. If you can kill a squirrel you can hit a deer. Great job.
Thanks. Still holding out hope that I can string a few days together in the deer woods this year. But in the mean time, chasing some small game has been rewarding. Wish I would have put the compound down a few years ago.. Something special about the stick and string.
