Just bumping the thread in case the Florida guys or south Ga guys might have missed it. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Here is the run down of gear I will personally have for people to check out or demo.
saddles: the aerohunter kite, aerohunter kestrel, aerohunter evo, Cruzr XC, Trophyline ambush,Wood Tree Saddles original saddle, and Wood Tree Saddles deluxe.
Climbing Sticks and climbing methods: hawk helium minis, Samson predator (Ddrt), and sterling HTP 10mm with petzl gri gri+ for SRT.
Platfroms and ROS: hawk monkey bars, EWO squirrel steps, Tethrd predator platform, Out on a limb ridge runner, XOPEdge, hawk apex attachment for the hawk mini, and Barren ridge climbing saddle platform. There will be guys there with DIY saddles and platforms and I am willing to be there will be a couple TX5’s and a 2 panel or two amongst the crowd.

I’ll have a TX5 and an EWO ultimate platform

I plan to be there Saturday and Sunday. What time is everyone arriving?
We are starting the meet up about 10:30 am Saturday morning. I figure the meet and greets/demonstrations from 10:30 to 12:30 that’ll give everyone time to sit in things introduce themselves and try out alternate platforms and climbing methods. Lunch will be served at 1pm and we plan the hog hunt from around 2 til dark. This is all subjective. If you aren’t hunting you’re welcome to hang out longer at the camp grounds. Also if you hang out longer, there will be plenty of food left over to eat.
anyone who reserved a campsite, it says campsites must be exited by 11am. So we are wrapping it up that time Sunday. (Maybe time to squeeze in another Sunday morning pig hunt lol)

Hey everyone I reserved the whole pine island camp site for the event that weekend. If you are planning to camp and cannot reserve a spot for some reason below is the contact info for a lady that can help. Just call or email her and let her know you plan to camp and are part of the group reserved for Robert Wood and she will add you to the group. We can have 24 people in the group and currently we are at 11 camping and 13 attending but not camping. These are just people who have emailed or rsvp. It’s looking to be a successful event and I can’t wait to meet everyone and see the different gear, set ups and climbing methods everyone uses! Oh yea here’s the lady’s contact info:

Is this the trial run before Florida becomes the official host for saddlepalooza? Georgia/ft Stewart interest seems at an all time low

I think it would be cool to make saddlepalooza a traveling show.... Different region hosts each year...

So besides the obvious of just meeting like minded people what are u guys hoping to gain from attending?

Break up the monotony of waiting for next season. Maybe meet some guys and join on some out of state hunts-whitetail, ducks, doves, pheasant. Check out some other gear. like you said, maybe entice the northern boys to come further south for a meetup…BMG, EWO. OOAL. Safety talk with Wood Tree Saddles. Get out of the friggin house!!!!!

I want to see your foot stirrup’s climbing method! My goal is to network. Meet some new people. Perhaps learn a few things about different areas people hunt. Eat some lunch and drop a hog! Definitely keeps things from getting boring and I would absolutely love if saddlepalooza were to become a traveling event. (Or if Florida were to become the new destination that would be fine with me, I mean after all we have the second largest wild hog population in the country and there is no bag limit, the weather is typically better than anywhere else and this particular WMA is 32,000 acres so plenty of space) The traveling idea is great too because, It would allow everyone to meet people who might not otherwise make it down. Maybe become bigger with vendors showing up and possibly a few you tube hunting celebs….. but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, for right now let’s just make the first one a successful one where people have a genuine good time.

If we set up with you do we still have to register or do you have it covered with a group site?
Hey cutty it’s covered as a group site. I don’t know how I missed this and I apologize if you already reserved something else. Either way it’s looking like we have a good amount of attendees coming and I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

I have 1 pop up canopy thing that's pretty rainproof maybe 3 or 4 peeps can stand under.....if anybody got a big tarp we can make a big shelter
