Folding Saw

I would go with the 130 unless you want it to do double duty for camping/backpacking.

I just ordered a 130 based on you guys. I have been struggling to find the perfect saw.

I have had good luck with the Felco F-600 Classic:

And for pruners, very good luck with the Okatsune 101 Pruner:

(Well except for the time I was cutting briars and tried to cut a chain link fence. But even though it chipped the blade, I've contained using it.)

I used a cheapo Colman or Gerber for 5 or 6 years prior to this year. I ordered a Silky pocketboy mid summer and was blown away at how fast that little blade cuts

would you recommend medium tooth or large tooth for general hunting purposes? I also noticed they offer a straight or a curved blade

i don't have a silky....but i've found that finer teeth don't cut as quickly but they are quieter.....maybe someone can chime in....i was looking at silkys and was thinking medium as a balance

I have large tooth on my silky. Cuts fast. Happy with it.

There is a lot of grape farming where I live and they use pruners and saws for vine work constantly. A lot of the grape farmers here use a Felco and my pruner is a decades old, anvil jawed heavy duty beast that I prefer over the saw up to about 3/4" limbs as its quieter than the saw. As far as saws go though, the Felco is excellent. This one is a 600-3.

Man, hold on to those pruners. I can’t find a well made pruner anymore. Yours look like some I had 30 years ago, but lost them.

I second the Felco's., I use their pruning shears, loppers and saws.
The nice thing is they all have replaceable blades.
Felco is commercial quality, so I don't think weight is their top priority.
