Foot placement when shooting

Ahh gotcha. Thanks. I was trying to wrap mine up the other day and couldn’t make it all the way around so I had a long tag end and was wondering how to wrap that up. Wasn’t even thinking to put it on the loop and I could stretch that around. Thanks again
IMO, you should always wrap it up with the strap pulled in the longest position so its ready for the next tree. Its always easier to adjust the strap shorter while setting the stand, than it is to lengthen it. So that's another reason why it's best to put the shock cord loop on the button loop of the strap.

I agree. Prior to Saturday I wasn't using the strap for the predator. I was using a daisy chain. I thought it would be faster and lighter, but after using the strap I wont go back. Also read your post about putting the step on the strap. I have been using the squirrel step strap separately with two steps. I don't like having the second strap, but as you said you run the risk of unseating you platform. I'll have to do some experimenting in the off season.
