Forgot my knee pads for last evening's hunt. What a drag one sticking up a tree and leaning for 3 hours!!

for my second sit yesterday I left my knee pads at the base of the tree instead of putting them on. I put my knees against the tree for 5 seconds and knew it wasn't going to work out.

Got to try out my tree booger retrieval device and snagged both on the first try!

I have never use knee pads. I like leaning but for longer periods. My feet do get a little numb sometimes though. I will adjust the tree tether and shuffle my feet a little.

Did you try putting something on the tree like your backpack or something? That’s what I have done in the past. Or climb a small diameter tree and straddle it. Like a motorcycle

Yep. The waist strap of my popup 28 worked well.
