Almost heaven
budget friendly and not obese in the weight dept. I just picked up this frame pack for public land hunting. Its probably wishful thinking that ill need it but I found a few giant deer roaming where I plan to hunt for once I hope to need it. also stumbled into a possible 300+lb black bear about 50yds when I went to check my cam so who knows this season could be a barn burner of a good one and put my 2016 Sika x2, PB buck, 1st BLK Bear, 1st Hog season to a test. I'm talking possible 140" 8pt, 150" 9pt and a bigger 10pt.. now which one will rule the roost during season I PRAY I find out. Wish me luck and hope this link finds inquiring minds.

Are you adding a bad or simply using this as a frame only? I tend to prefer having a bag attached to a frame-at least when packing meat it is nice to hae somewhere to stash knives and other gear. But if you are only using for shorter distance and not extended day hikes etc. looks like a good deal.

I've considered something like this so I could just attach all my sticks, platform and bag to. Then pull that stuff off when I make a kill and put my meat on there and the other get back on. I have an old frame laying around but this looks like a good alternative as well! Thanks for postin.

it will basically live in my car until needed my public land spots aren't TOO far out so I plan to take all my stuff back and strip down then return with it if need be. but it would also work with a bag attached I have tried both
