Freezer fillers UNITE!!!

I forgot pictures earlier. Remaining 2019 list in dry erase on the top. Last weekends PA archery buck in game bags that was shot in the great 2020 rut heat wave. I need to let it hang and age this week when it cools off.

Great guys! Keep it coming!

Can't wait until @kyler1945 posts a picture of his deer legs with the hair still on them :D

Haha, the 2nd to last storm we had knocked out power for a few days. I got spooked and went ahead and processed everything and left everything at a friends.

all that’s left is a skull to boil.

it did remind me of a funny picture - I need this for when I have deer parts in trash can...

I hope to have hooves and hide in the next picture for ya!

We have an upright freezer that will hold our usual frozen supplies and two deer. Also have a small chest freezer that is usually unplugged but available for overflow if I get more than two. I got a temp controller and have been using it to run the spare freezer as a refrigerator when needed - it cycles the freezer on and off to keep it at approx 40 degrees. After I skin and break down a deer, I put it in the temp controlled 40 degree freezer on wire racks and can take my time in finishing all the cuts, grinds and packaging while it ages at the right temp. Really liking this system.

Problem arises when I get more than two deer and have to use the spare freezer as an actual freezer, though! Good problem to have, I suppose!...

What temp controller do you have if you don't mind me asking? After the temperatures we had in PA this year I want to have this setup as a 'just in case'

4 deer a gator and some deer and gator skulls. Still got my PA 8 pointer meat and skull to pick up when visiting family over the holidays. Got 2 more tags and 10 days when I get back to see if I can’t top this bad boy off but I’ll probably have to move some more inside bc it’s filled up to the sliding shelf’s. We’ve probably gone through a doe so far this season too. Glad my family loves venison.

2 100 lb + does, a few squirrels, about 20 quarts of blueberries, 20 quarts of strawberries, probably 10 quarts of red raspberries, a few bags of green peppers, some chili peppers, and a couple of gallons of green beans. If I shoot another deer I will have to make room in my other freezer.

I have a smallish chest freezer that filled up 2/3rd with this years buck. I had everything processed into sticks and sausage. Still had a package of sticks and couple links of sausage from last year that moved to the top of the pile of deliciousness.

Here is my chest freezer, with all my meat processing equipment on top. Got my MT bull elk, a MT mule deer, and a CO mule deer, no MN whitetails so far (got one more sit left), but that is kind of my own fault. Had a chest freezer for years, the stand up came with the house (made sure to put that in the contract). Really really like the stand up freezer (to each his own) just because it means I don't have to dig as much. As you can see though, three animals and I still got some room.
