Last haul from my axis doe cull hunt on Molokai! 8 does in da cooler with room for more! Should last us till sheep season starts then it’s off to big island to bag some rams to last until early season where I’ll try for blackies while stalking goats and pigs. What ever I get during early season last us through the rut and late season. Then the cycle starts again with axis hunts beginning the new year!

Had one of my best years ever getting on bucks but couldn’t make it happen with the Tradbow. Ended up just shooting a doe with the rifle to ease my pain but walked up to it and it was a spike. Perfect ending to my year. But the kids laid the smack down so freezer filling wasn’t needed on my part.

A chest freezer is nice for bulky items but packaged meats are a lot nicer in an upright. Mine broke so I’m left with the chest only for now.

Deer, hogs, fish, and squirrels. Already ate up the few ducks.

rule# 27893510.... never put dates on da meats! Wife won’t touch anything that says it’s a month old..... i also write Deer on everything that way no one complains when they are eating goat stew

I am sooo jealous. I haven't shot anything in a few years. My own fault, shoulder problems, grandchildren all kinds of excuses. My family bought me a chest freezer for my birthday a few years ago so I wouldn't mix my wild stuff with their store bought. Got a nine that year and haven't put anything wild in it since. This year is going be different.

I’d have stuff 10 years old at the bottom of that freezer if I didn’t put dates and shuffle stuff around to use up the old stuff 1st. Plus we all eat wild game so no worries of disguising the meat unless you gut shoot one or kill a bunch of diver ducks, then you put those packs in a certain spot for the inlaws and neighbors when they start begging for meat. We use to call divers, neighbor ducks! Lol

I usually manage to eat whatever I kill before the next season. Anything left over i just give to my family and tell them to eat it within the next few months or throw it out of they don't want it. Usually isn't a whole lot
