Friction knot slippage on Cruzr Restech tether

Four feet would be enough for most hitches on the smaller diameter ropes.

It’s not expensive(I bought it) and it wouldn’t hurt to have an extra loop or two ready to prussik. I’m using it on canyon elite and there is no slippage……you’ll like the beal
 
Yeah not a bad idea. Was probably going to pick up a beal birdie or a hollow block for rappel backup. Seems like having an extra sling and biner around is never a bad idea. Did my first rappel outta a tree this weekend. Had to experiment with the crappy prussic loop I had on hand to get it to bite hard enough.
