I was driving down the road right after dark past a piece of public land when out of the corner of my eye i see a good buck standing in a grass patch feeding. I dropped an Onx pin and continued home. The next week i scouted the area to find three finger ridges covered in auitum olive bushes. I found where the deer had been bedding not sixty yards from a major road with a ton of traffic. Fast forward three more weeks and i decided it was time to head back in to try and take this deer. I snuck down the mountain using the wind and squirrels as noise cover to get withing a legal shooting distance from the road. With twenty minutes of shooting light left i let out a bleet with two long grunts. Five minutes later he was standing at twenty yards. 20191105_170619.jpg
