Anyone tried these out before?

Ordered a couple of the wire gate versions to use on my bag, hoping they wont be loud when you flip the gate open. I love the silence of G hooks, but the cheapo chinese ones I bought originally are very tight on the webbing and don't adjust easily, if you don't keep them tight they fall off. Should probably just go back to side release buckles.

Good catch. I guess they are 3/4? I don't even see it listed.

If your looking for higher quality g hooks the guys at latitude sell them in pairs and they include a retainer. I like the added security of the retainer but if you want quick on/off they may not be the best option. They also arent cheap but I do feel the quality is in line with price.

Those are pretty cool. Had not seen them in metal.

I saw those, and may end up with them in the long run. But $20 + shipping is steep for 4 buckles.
