What's the attraction of using a One stick to one stick? Just the weight?
It's light but it's a good design too. Sticks to the tree well and roomy step. The 4 point cleat isn't much of a downgrade from a cam cleat.

Now someone make a machined climber sub 10lb please and I'm set.
Just got rained out, but my one hunt opinion is they are very nice and so far I see no reason they will be unreliable. Obviously I can’t know if a step/standoff is going to split in half, but so far I am happy with the purchase.
I absolutely will. I’m also 6’1”, 265lb in my birthday suit and wear a size 12 boot. Foot room isn’t the best but it’s manageable and even at my weight sticks still felt very solidLet us know long term how they are and if they develop any wiggle.
I knew you would throw your hat in the ring. I had never owned one or seen one until these showed up yesterday, but I do like them. I’m just going to keep my eye on them and am fully aware of how this may go.When I had my Gen2… I am 250lbs and literally jumped as high as I could and tried to break them in multiple tests before deciding to send them back. They stayed rock solid. I was impressed to be honest. Any other stick would have bent or broke. The recall scared me but I think my sticks were perfectly fine. In hindsight I regret returning them and may own some gen3 on Tuesday….lol

I think the green serial tags indicate they were tested, can anyone who received their Gen 2’s back confirm that’s what the tag is for?
I personally think you are over analyzing this. The nut and bolt would simply be to keep the roll pin from walking out.can you measure the internal diameter of that top roll pin? i won't buy these unless i am sure from the jump that i can put a decently strong bolt through the pin (titanium?)
and/or the bolt diameter of the one going through the bottom pin to hold the cord keeper?
thanks, if you have time
If you’re gonna bolt emI personally think you are over analyzing this. The nut and bolt would simply be to keep the roll pin from walking out.
Lmao you have as much will power to say no as does the cookie monster to say no to cookiesWhen I had my Gen2… I am 250lbs and literally jumped as high as I could and tried to break them in multiple tests before deciding to send them back. I bought a single gen 3. This was after I bought a set of 3 gen 2. I was really pissed about the recall and lack of testing before selling. That being said I "tested" them all myself wanting to see if i could break them. Since then I have climbed with them many times for practice before season and now I am hunting with them. So far 1 of the 3 developed a little wobble in the top step. That happened when I was jumping on one side multiple times to test. I understand the skepticism with buying tetherd products. Just giving my account for the sticks I bought. Honestly I love them. I either ride my mountain bike or walk to all my locations. So I do like light stuff
