I didn't know if 1/4 would be to big.

My Mantis kit should be here today and I ordered my platform and a set of Helium sticks so hopefully I will be able to try it out a couple of times before the season ends. From what I have read and heard it is better to switch to a daisy chain for the sticks instead of the straps. I have read several forms but not entirely on daisy chains, should I use 1/4" or will 7/64" amsteel work?
oh you went the single stick route. I didnt want to spend an extra 30-50 dollars more. I am too cheap lol$48 each

Well went out today for my first sit, I didn't hook up a few inches off the ground and get to know my saddle before I went out, I just went out and hunted. Everything went pretty well considering it was my first time. Since my ridge runner platform is not in yet I had to hunt off the top of my sticks. I lasted about 3 1/2 hours before my toes froze out. I am definitely looking forward to getting my platform top of the stick kinda sucked. I have already seen some things I want to change. I did not think that I would want to cut my sticks down before I got them but probably will after the season is over. After my amsteel gets in I am going to make a step aider and daisy chains for my sticks and platform to get rd of those straps and buckles. I would like to have a shorter bridge so I see why Tethrd made an adjustable one on their new saddle. I am going to get another ropeman 1 for my tether. By the end of my hunt, after adjusting my tether hight and the micro fit adjusters I was pretty comfy. I was a bit apprehensive about getting rid of my climber and making the switch but I am glad now that I did.
The platform will bake a huge difference. Makes the whole experience so much better.
