Brother we hunt NY- getting kicked in the teeth is par for the course. The value isn’t monetary regarding the price. I spent thousands on books in college to which had no value after a class.

Ok here is a question relating to this book.
How would i use this in really flat country like where i live?
how does one interperate or use top lines while scouting in-flat country?
Will there be patterns of travel?
Do i still look on the points and bowls of topo lines even though its a super minimal elevation change?

Mapping Trophy Bucks by Brad Herndon your study guide. Ditches, drains and low spots of course Fence lines. Might not be detected by topography or satellite maps but these often over looked areas are traveling highways. Boots on the ground scouting is about the only way to find them.

Not from the book- just the school or hard knocks…

Wind map your ground w milkweed and written notes. Know all the hitches, gideeups, thermal changes, time of year changes, back eddys….. you’ll know tons… the issue is the time to do it is when you want to be hunting smart and if you’re hunting without knowing exactly how the wind moves you’re not hunting smart
