Just wanted to give a shout out to Rockywoods. Im doing some diy stuff with zippers and placed a decent size order from them. I got a call asking if the zipper pulls and bulk zipper coil were going to be used together? We talked about my project and they suggested different zipper material as what I had ordered wasnt compatible together. I assumed #8 was #8. They also explained I could sew the ends of the zippers, no need to buy the metal stoppers in my situation. I was glad they actually looked at my order with knowledge of the products and not just some guy throwing products in a box and shipping it.

Sounds like a nice company. I have sewed over metal zippers by a hand powered sewing machine stopping and repositioning if I hit metal. This was all that was necessary to keep the pull on the zipper.
