I have this pack to and I like it for the most part but the way it opens on the right side is kinda a problem in the tree. I'm right handed and like my bow on the left with my pack all the right so all the zippers are on the far side of the pack and hard to access without a bunch of movement...

Do you swing the pack around to the front?

You almost have to to get into it. Ends up being a lot of extra movement

I'm still trying to get along with it. They main problem is I'm pulling a hard camera case and camera arm out of the large section and that requires almost a full unzip. Becomes kinda unmanageable to do without dropping something with the one sided unzip on the of side. I'm not saying it's not a good pack just a problem that might be unique to how I use it. A lot of guys that saddle hunt are using it. I love how it packs a single stick. I'm hoping I can come up with a good system for setup and takedown of gear.

I use and prefer a sling pack for saddle hunting. I like to connect my one stick to the side of the pack via the molle loops, and it’s far more convenient at the base of the tree to turn the pack around to the front to remove my stick and access needed items for the climb. I looked at the same packs mentioned here, and have been experimenting with a few different ones. I am currently using one from Hazard 4.
