Not sure on the broadhead but I think it’s strange how clean the arrow is broke off. It's easy to see that and think somebody was being a D but who's to say the shot was on target and the deer moved....
What kind of broadhead?
Dude. I tell you, they are INCREDIBLY quick. @GCTerpfan was there with me a couple weeks ago when we recovered the spike I shot. We watched the video later and the deer actually spun around in the last 4' of arrow travel, just prior to arrow arrival. It ended up going through the opposite side of where I was aiming. It's easy to see that and think somebody was being a D but who's to say the shot was on target and the deer moved....
If it was a crossbow bolt I highly doubt the fletching would’ve came off in the time from it being shot till killed with a gun. I’ve found arrows years old at an archery range that the fletching was still on or at least remains of it.
Well, on cases like that I give them benefit of the doubt. He could have found it dead and not trusted the meat or shot it and not recovered it until days later when meat was spoiled. I’ve taken horns only from bucks I’ve found a few days after the shot.Yea, stuff like this and the buck left fully intact with the skull plate missing on a WMA I hunt really gets to me….
