Hawk Helium Mini attachment for one sticking?

I've scoured the web and forums trying to find the definitive answer (knowing to some degree it is personal preference) and noting I've not yet tried one sticking but want to do so. What do folks prefer for attachment (hawk or otherwise) for one sticking?

Amsteel daisy chain? Cam cleat/climbing rope? Webbing daisy chain (which these already have)? Rope mod (wrap and half hitch)? "old school" webbing and buckle?

I think my greatest gap in understanding is undoing the connection, retrieving the stick, and moving it up. I get the mechanics of it, but would value some feedback from vets on this. I'm most concerned about (in this order) solid connection the tree (no kickouts), ease of retrieval and simplicity of use. I'm not terribly concerned about weight, noise (I'm slow as molasses in January, so can be quiet and safe).

I have 2 cut-down helium sticks that I 1-stick with and have rope cam cleats on both of them. Quick and easy for 1-sticking.
 
That does seem the 'easiest' approach, at least in what I've read, seen on videos, and in my mind. Feel like that gives you a solid connection, no kick out issues, slippage, etc.?
 
Agree! Cam cleat all the way! You’ll find it to be very secure and the easiest to remove. Good luck!
 
Another cam cleat fan here! I bought some 1/4” amsteel and made an attachment rope for my hawk sticks (overkill I know). It is max diameter but fits the cam cleat fine and NO STRETCH. I did also make a daisy chain out of it for my Hawk full size platform and love it! And it is rock solid!
One thing I’m figuring out about the cam cleats is when they lock, they won’t let the cord out sideways without a ton of effort, even after loosening the stick from the tree. But, just a little tug towards the outward direction and it comes out easily and quietly. One other thing that’s helping me is not trying to get too much out of each move of the stick. Relax, take your time and you’ll get up the tree much faster.
 
Those webbing daisy chains that came with the sticks are much better than the cam buckles from the past. I tried using lots of slack in it so I could leave it attached and just move it up the tree. It works, but requires way too much effort……effort equal to or maybe even more than trying to take it off and reattach those loops that are so hard to separate. Also the cam cleats will let you use any rated cord or rope that’s not too big and you probably already have some laying around. I am having no issues using the amsteel in the cleat.
