anyone ever have the buckle on the hawk helium stick in the open position? First time out of the box it happened to me twice.

I use 3 in 1 liquid silicone on the pivot points on new gear. Seems to help right off the bat.
 
they are not the best cams.however a drop of wd 40 on all knew cams to eliminate squeeks realy helps.ive had a few cams wich wher not stainless rust.i only use strap but im picky about cams.go to strapworks .com and pick your camo and stainless cams
 
Thanks everyone. I’m waiting on some 1/4” amsteel and going to make one whoopie daisy and see how that goes.
