Sounds good man. I use cranfords as my platform and climb with tree gaffs

Shew boy look at them legs

Haha that looks interesting. But I half to ask

People cut the leg loops off of the saddle?

Apparently they do. I'm going to have to play with that concept at ground level.
So what do you guys think. Do I stand a chance with Eva Shockey in this thing?

So, I'm thinking about making a rope bridge for my trophyline. Loop on one end, Biner on the other. That way I could make small slots on the slumberjack to feed the bridge through. I would make it slightly shorter than the original bridge to allow for stretch. Any thoughts?

This would allow me to use the leg straps and have the whole saddle under the slumberhack

I'm thinking, eh! I think I'll use a hang strap from a hammock as my bridge. It's made of seatbelt material with stitched loops at either end. I'll anchor it on one of my linesman loops then loop it through until the length with the Biner on the other end matches the bridge on the TL.
Red, I think you've used seat belt material before. Any idea what the strength is like?
Dwaters, you've made holes in your IWOM for something similar. Any Advice before putting my suit under the knife?

Very strong. Here is a link to some with a 5500 lb rating. http://store.jontay.com/polyester_4-pan ... -yard.aspx

Thanks Red. The other option I have is to use the existing bridge by cutting the small loop at the attachment buckle. Then attaching a Biner to the bridge. Then I could run the existing bridge out through the suit and back in to the line belt loop on the left.

I'd keep the strength of the strength of the original webbing but loose the ability to cinch it up around my waist. I use shoulder straps so this may not be an issue.
Thoughts?

Option 1: black seat belt

Option 2: cut where my finger is and use the original webbing

I think I will sew this pattern first before cutting. Then the material will be held where it needs to be. I'll have to be careful when I cut but the reinforcement will hopefully stop any tearing.
Any thoughts from you DIYers?

I like option #1 for the bridge design.

I think it is a great idea to pre-sew your holes to keep the material from coming apart.

I'd have worn hunting boots but I just knew some of you guys wanted to see my legs!

As long as your bridge is strong enough, I think it looks great :D

I looked up the size of the webbing and it is rated at 3500 lbs.

I was just watching the climbing video above again.
It looks as though the bottom of the cloak is quite open when sitting in the saddle!
I figure I better is that too! Not only could it be drafty, but if s squatch happens to walk underneath, look up and see my knickers then we'll HAVE to get married!
Instead of shooting deer, I'll be picking fleas of our blurry monkey babies!
