Heater Body suit/ IWOM

I’m seriously considering some puffy pants and jacket just for packability. Just not sure how warm they’ll be

No, I've not made any adjustments to my HBS. It works well as is.
I also agree it's not "loud" against the bark. Very warm just a slight loss in mobility on the platform.
How are you zipping it up? Or are you only zipping it up to the bridge?

What about the Blizzard Buddy or Slumberjack for other possible options? Anyone ever try either of these?

I finally broke down & cut a 4-5” vertical slit on either side of the main zipper for the bridge. I didn’t get a chance to use it this weekend, stayed too warm. So 2 questions
1. Should I run a secondary bridge to feed through the 2 holes then clip in & repeat? Otherwise I’m getting this HBS on at height not a terrible proposition b/c I’m tethered in. But would have to stand up hug the tree & feed bridge through holes & repeat to climb down. ( I don’t see another option unless I’m missing something)
2. I’m also thinking about adding zippers around the perimeter of the feet, I’m going to try it out without first I’d hate to lose all that heat through the bottom.

I have a diy on my hbs mods. Yes I carry separate bridge just for hbs use, cause my saddle has fixed bridge. I have warm boots and never get cold feet, so I cut the feet out of mine to allow unrestricted movement on the platform. B4 that mod I was stepping on the material from opposite foot. I have a strap on each leg to synch them tight for minimal heat loss.

That’s kinda what I figured, I’ll play around w/it & let you know where I end up.

I keep my linesmans belt on and clip my bridge to the tether, then I slip my legs into the suit one at a time while leaning against the linesmans belt. I pull the HBS up to my waist and put on the shoulder straps. Then while still connected with the LB I unhook the bridge, run it through the holes in my suit, reconnect the bridge and tether and then take off the LB. It's easier with a platform but I have done it with a ring of WE steps also.

I use Cabela’s Berber fleece bibs and pullover hoodie with layering underneath and have never been cold.
They’re quiet and windproof. Hunted in single digits and -10 wind chill in Kansas.

I zip it up to the bridge and attach the zip string to a S biner that's prussic knotted onto my bridge to hold my back support strip. This keeps the zipper from falling. The zipper goes almost the entire way up and I wear a thick head cover to retain upper heat.

I'm going to bump this back up to the top. I have done a lot of looking at the iwom system. After talking to Allen (at iwom) I really think I can make it work with the aero. I bought one yesterday. It should be here Tuesday. I
Believe I can wear the aero under it and have small holes for the bridge to come through since I have my
Where I can remove it from one of the paws with a caribiner. After I do some testing I will let everyone know my results.
would love to see it , thanks, that would make my day

I am gonna have to try mod my hbs cause buying it was such a game changer when i got it that hoing without it in mn would be really hard

Have not started and will be a bit. Winter here and of course my skid steer is down

I know your are a big guy. Are you using this with the saddle or your JX3?
How did it fair with the slits?
I need to get it a little more permanent, but it’s functional, so far has just been saddle. But need to do some Jx3 testing. Only been cold enough a few sits to use it.
