I need to get some 200gn single bevel heads, but my initial choice (iron will) has been out of stock for the last month and a half. My backup choice is vpa but I can’t find any info on there warranty policy. I’m hesitant to order grizzlystik because I can’t find any info on the bevel angle (planning to use a stay sharp) and the 1 year warranty. I’m new to this heavy arrow/high foc thing. Any advice will be appreciated.

25 degrees on the Grizzlystik Samurai.
I like mine.
I use a KME sharpener and I will say this...the stone just barely clears the front of the ferrule, but it does clear it on the 200s. Not so with the 150s. BUT, the nice thing about Samurai is that the blade is removable from the ferrule with a tiny allen wrench. The 150s are much easier to sharpen in a KME with the ferrule removed. Not sure about the ferrule profile on other single bevel heads or other types of sharpeners, but 25 degree bevel is tight towards the front of the ferrule. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but I thought that I would mention it.

If you’re looking for some iron will 200s let me know. I’ve got a used set. I might be willing to let go.I’m actually shooting the two on the grain samurais myself

Found em. I think I paid 80 or so. I don’t remember. If ya want em…$75 tyd. And here a side by side of the GS Sammys. And I’ll throw in some 200gr field points. I’m cool like that.

IW single bevels were in stock a few weeks ago, at least the 150 buffs were. Definitely a popular item, they’ll email you when a specific item becomes available if you call.

The IW single bevels fly like darts. I’m shooting them and the wide solids this year.

I can vouch for at least one of those IW points being a killer, haha.

Was it you I got them from? Small world. Oh. And I won’t tell you where I sent a GS arrow tonight. Stupid thumb release at about 1/3 draw. Phone call. Rain coming. Trying to start the site in on the new set up/sites.

And arrow number 4 goes sailing over the fence and low speed. And I smacked myself good in the lip. Could have been worse I suppose. It could have been one of them fast arrows. Who knows where i would have found that. Shooting the dart… not too hard to find about 45 yards out

If your shooting a compound over 60#….skip the two blade and get a solid, long and lean three blade.

Seriously. Just another guys opinion, but I’ve gone both directions and if you can push a three….think Wensel Woodsman, the blood trails are much more like a bullet hole than a slit.

I disagree with this statement a bit. Blood trails are misunderstood by many, and it's understandable. More blades or a wider head doesn't equate to a better blood trail. What does however is shot placement and blade sharpness.

If you shoot a two blade through a major artery, you will have a better blood trail most likely than if you shoot a three blade through the lungs. However if both shots are equal and through the heart, who knows what the trails will be? Every shot is situational, and blood trails are simply unpredictable.

Getting an exit wound will maximize blood trails regardless of the shot location.
The odds of getting an exit are higher with a 2 blade than with a 3 or 4 blade. That's not to say the odds are poor for multi blade heads, it's just playing the odds.

Lots of dead deer have shown me a three blade almost always produces a better blood trail.

So from what I’ve gathered per my personal preference of having a bevel over 30 degrees removes grizzlystik and cutthroat from my consideration. I want to run single bevel 2 blade for the thicker steel and easier sharpening (to me at least) compared to a 3/4 blade. I know that my setup is way overkill for the deer in north Florida where I am but you never know when a pig might show up. 695gn taw 226 FPS out of a 70# 28 in draw VXR31.5 and that just happens to be what the bow likes. I still would like to see if anyone has experience with VPA but currently it looks like I’m still waiting on iron will to get the 200 single bevel buffs back in stock. Thanks for all the help.

I've been using the new Easton long range 4mm arrows with the titanium 55gr outsert with a 150 gr field tip and Im blowing through my targets ill be using a 150gr Magnus stinger

My only personal experience with a 3 blade is a smallish pig. Hit was back and got the liver. Expired quickly and within 80yds of impact.
However.... According to Ashby studies (and also kinda common sense) on heavy bone hit a 3 blade will act like wedge of sorts
