I am gearing up to give saddle hunting a try this year. From the research I have done, sounds like i should enjoy it. I have a Tetherd Phantom headed my way and am still undecided on which climbing method to use.

Welcome from Maryland! Really doesn't matter what climbing method you use, you probably change it by the time your second season rolls around and then probably again by your third season. LOL. Don't fight it , you just have to get down with the sickness!!
 
Welcome from the White Mountains. I'm only a year into Saddle Hunting. Son is anxious to get into it next year. I've loved it so far. Thought about trying the oh so many climbing methods but really just like sticks w/ daisy chains and adding 2 step moveable aider for next fall.
