New member from coastal SC here. Decided to get back into bow hunting and give saddle hunting a try at the same time. Excited for the new experiences and to research/learn from all the good folks here!
 
I'm in upstate SC.

I am sure you're already aware, but on the coast, rifle season is from August 15 until January 1 (at least on private).

Yes sir! Been rifle hunting small tract that I will soon lose access to due to sale. There is an archery only unit not too far from the house that doesn’t get hit very hard...figured it was worth learning the area!

Yes sir I love it so much so I been thinking about shooting 3D in the off season but it is just so expensive!! And I have a sister and niece that live right outside Columbia!
 
Also down in the Lowcountry. Just outside of Walterboro. First year trying saddle hunting.
