I hunt within a few miles of the New York border on a couple of smaller, private agricultural properties. The idea of saddle hunting came while pondering locations and stand types for permanent installations. At the very least, it would serve as a test and best case, I end up loving it and foregoing the effort and expense of multiple permanent setups. I love to research before diving in and I have spent a good bit of time here lurking - gear should be arriving next week.

Tether and linesman will be DIY with climbing rope, hitch cord, and carabiners. I sew a lot of my camping gear so dump bags and pouches will be fun little projects once I have my gear to refer to.
