Hello all!

Greetings from Owen Sound, Ontario!

Thank you for including me to this forum. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Been saddle hunting for 2 years now. I have been using a vintage original TrophyLine saddle that is probably 20+ years old.

Just got a Tethrd Phantom. I'm setting it up with ropes right now. I will be running 10.3mm New England KM-III for the linesman belt and tether with Lixada ascenders and autolock biners.

I climb with 3 Wild Edge steps and a 4-step aider. Looking to try spurs this upcoming season.

I will be getting a Tethrd Predator platform from a friend once he gets his new platform.

Any advice you all have for me is welcome! Beyond this, I plan on asking specific questions in the appropriate sub-forum.

Looking forward to learning much more!

Welcome from Maryland. Only thing l will say is

RAPPEL!
RAPPEL!!
RAPPEL!!!!!

If you have experience in rope or want to do more recreational climbing l say go figure 8. But l recommend an ATC for hunting because it's alot easier and simpler with an auto block. Also larger ropes are easier to use. Plus you're only carrying like 40 ft max, size/weight/packability is not that important compared to climbers carrying hundreds.
