I was going to buy the cabelas instinct lockdown boot and seen that they are discontinuing them. I've never seen another boot like it. Does any body know of a similar boot available? Here is what they look like. Its basically a low cut hiking boot with a 20" gaiter attached to make it water proof.

They have the same style in a snake boot. They were expensive but I was intrigued by them. Just not sure how quiet the would be.

I saw the snake boot version and am still thinking about buying it. The only thing about that model is it has no insulation. I'm not sure how warm they will be in winter.
