Help me not buy a cell cam

I tried throwing my brain cells at a deer.....didn't seem to faze them much. Now to be fair, that could be due to a lack of said cells. But I'm pretty sure I want a saddle/gear/gun/bow and the like to actually get venison into my freezer.

You don’t need real time notifications sent to your pocket via satellite providing exact location / direction / coordinates of your prey.

Slight word of warning: the pair I got seems to be an open box return, all of the "remove before use" stickers were stuck inside the box and not on the cameras. Still got all the components etc so not a huge deal, however I fiddled with them for about 10 min, got one to set up but the other didn't, haven't had much time to troubleshoot or attempt firmware update yet.

can these be used without a wireless plan? I am thinking of getting into trail cams and would like to start out with ones that I can just grab the cards off of (I like walking in the woods )

Yes, but these also have a free 100 photo transmission plan. So if you enable the wireless transmission you will get 100 photos each month and anything else just gets stored on the sd card. The card creates 2 files, a main folder with all of the photos and a transmitted photos folder of any pictures that get sent to the app.

Exodus has had a cell camera for at least a couple years and they sell out pretty fast. I use their regular cameras and have for a more than a few years and they are great cameras. Customer service is top notch not dout.

Exodus has a deal going on where you trade in one of their old cameras and get a $100 off a render cell camera, till end of March.
