I'm really wanting to lease some land next season. About 200ac or so. Not looking for a club, just somewhere to put a camper, get away from people and take the family. Somewhere in the proximity of a 2hr drive from Warrior. I looked at a few timber company leases last year but didn't find what I wanted or found their website hard to follow. So if y'all have any intel on something, let me know. Thanks
 
try Base Camp Leasing - not sure how much they have in Bama - but it is who I use for my out of state lease and they cover the country - once you sign a lease it includes all the liability insurance too - its a pay to play if you want - but don't have to - the premier membership levels give you earlier access to leases opening up than the lower tiers or free memberships
 
Talk to a local real-estate agent or attorney - tell them what you're looking for. My wife's uncle is an attorney in southern AL who handles real estate mostly... and always got wind of tracts coming up because of the work he did with all kinds of other sales, etc. He had some nice spots.
