Hickory Creek Koolaid

No sling. I carry it hanging down by my side, usually cocked and loaded.
No sling for me either. It is the only thing in my hands walking in. Here are some photos.
Case from Walmart

Bow fits in extra pocket. Gin not included. :(

SKU in case you want to buy a case. :D

Case does not close completely but protects bow and the stirrup can be fastened to Velcro handle.

My mini had an extra hole drilled and tapped through the riser when I bought it used. It works well.

Extra bolt and OEM knob fastened.

So questions
1. Did you use the stock arrows
2. What draw weight did you set it at
3. What broadheads did you use.
4. What do you do to compensate for the off set scope

Yes

Max

Spitfire and Rage Hypodermics

Absolutely nothing. The left to right drift is inconsequential under 40 yards

Rage hypodermics !!!! They can't kill anything. :D That's what I used as well.

For me.
Yes
2 turns from full
Rage
No compensation. Put crosshair on spot. It will hit within 2 inches of spot out to 30 yards

Is the stock/length of pull adjustable? (Like an AR15 with adjustable stock)

Can a suitable replacement arrow be found? (Are they anything special?)

Stock is fixed. Arrows can literally be anything you want in a (I believe) 350 spine. He ships them with Victory's entry-level arrow, which shoot fine for me. @kyler1945 built a heavier arrow for it. Might can pick his brain.

The old joint in the big bow is superior to the new connection in the mini. I wish that could be remedied. Doesn’t stop me from preferring the mini though.

I shoot a 250 spine cut same length as the stock arrows he sends. Ethics ss 100gr halfouts, 125 exodus. Shoots them over 300fps if I recall correctly. Parker red got scope. Killing machine

He shipped mine with Deer Crossing Archery arrows and you can order directly from them. The hash marks in the scope are perfect for 10yd. increments. I zeroed at 20 and am good out to 50 using the hash marks. I stopped there because I ran out of space in the back yard.

I put a 5/16-18 lock nut with a neoprene washer on the stud that sticks into the foot stirrup and it really tightens up the two pieces along with the plastic hand screw bolt. Just makes one more step if wanting to take it apart though.

I bought a dozen of these last year. They went on sale from time to time at $20 for six. I haven't cut them but they do come with inserts.

While we're tinkering, here's a though for you guys who like rangefinders:

I have a buddy who is dead-set on this for his. Doesn't make sense for me as flat as it shoots, but I'm sure one of you will agree with him.
