Hickory Creek Koolaid

With the amount of bodies on that that one.... Should go into the mini hall of fame!

Lol. Not sure. Just readjusting some in the off season. Kinda hate to consider parting with it

Seems kind of blasphemous for someone who spawned a 65 page thread talking about how great something is....to then consider reselling said item in the same thread.

... Or maybe that's just the Saddle Hunter mantra. :tearsofjoy:  haha

It's so much easier with a Xbow. I tried the 300 @ 23" bare shaft and found 225 grains up front shot bullet holes. I'm liking this but I got to say, practicing with this thing set at 150# and just using my hands to cock it, is rough on this old man.
Use a pair of thin leather gloves

I still think it's the best way to put an arrow through a deer. But last year I ended up on some new property that allows gun hunting. Plus I've slowed my roll some the last 2 seasons. Plus I have a kiddo inbound.

Still not sure I'll sell
Compared to my 20s and early 30s I’ve had hunting headwinds, some of my friends slowed their roll, then I had kids (old dad kids born in my late 30s)… but now at 44yrs I’ve maintained momentum even turned an office buddy into total convert. A great deal of my own motivation has come from online conversations and go getters like yourself. Seeing your enthusiasm wane has ripple effects keep that in mind, ha. you have obligations to your believers! Heck I bought a mini in January, hate to see the cult break up.

Edit: maybe go get your T checked before selling.

Yeah, I'm not quitting hunting. Yall gotta bear in mind I duck hunt, turkey hunt, squirrel hunt, snipe hunt, hog hunt, run limb lines, fish inshore and fresh, etc. I've always bow hunted mainly because of opportunity. It doesn't do much for me, hence the crossgun.

Anyways. They go for 800 new. 650ish used with goodies from what i see. Is 500 and split shipping for the bare bow with no optics reasonable? Assuming I post it?

Plus you don’t have the rear stock on yours unless you just took it off for your style of hunting and it goes with it.

It has the stock. Also has the newer, lighter trigger.
I think it'll probably sell for 500 if you put it in the classifieds. Heck, write your name on it and one of these jokers might give you 525. Did Jerry ok this though? You selling the mini is like his best influencer giving it up. May affect sales

Try golf gloves. I have the rope cocker that works well but the Center Point hand crank works the best for me if I'm shooting a lot. I have a bad back.

Kinda wish I didn’t get a new compound now, I’d pick this up from yah in a month if I hadn’t.

Help, looking for an economical offset scope rings for a 1" tube. I plan on upgrading the scope and want to avoid string clearance issues. Please supply inks, I am a lefty. Thank you.

This was posted on the Facebook Vertical crossbow shooters new innovation by Hickory Creek. The link was bad, I wanted to copy this set up.View attachment 83627
I have a Hawk 3x fixed. I put it on my Mini and I did not have much clearance between the scope and string. I can move my mount over a little. When it warms up I will give it a try. Also if the mini is cocked, and you turn on the light you will be putting your hand in the string path.

I also tried a Vortex Crossfire red dot. I can see alot of the limb in the sight.
Not sure if moving the mount will help alot.
