I would appreciate some pics. If possible could you take pics of the bolt that bolts in the limps? I want to see the spacing. I had to losen mine and not sure if mine are out to much. If you know what I mean. The string goes around the large pulley and attaches to the nub on each side pulley. The cable goes from Y -attachment at the limb through a string guide then around the smaller pulley and attached to the nub on each side. There are 2 cables and one string. If you need a few closer pictures I can take some.
I read somewhere online that the bolts could be turned out 5 turns. I think that gets you 90 lbs pull. I sent a few emails to the owner of the company but never got an answer about getting an owners manual. Mine are turned out 2 turns each so I can cock it easier. I think that gets me about 125 lbs, my state minimum. Fully tightened is supposed to be 150 lbs. If you need pictures of something I can take them tomorrow. Just let me know exactly what you need.I would appreciate some pics. If possible could you take pics of the bolt that bolts in the limps? I want to see the spacing. OK. Let me go and get my xbow out of the car and take some pictures. If I hunt today, it will be for the late shift.I would appreciate some pics please. I emailed them and no success.
Yes. I think once you get all the strings in the right places, screwing the limbs in will tighten everything up.Thank you!!! Looks like I need to screw the bolts in some.
Yup. Still cocked. Probably would have been fine overnight.I just got home from hunting and saw this thread. I forgot to uncock my HC. Better go do it now. It's still in my truck.
What's the saying? It's fine talking to yourself but once you start answering back...I left mine for 5 days in the garage cocked on accident, no harm done as far as I can tell.Yup. Still cocked. Probably would have been fine overnight.
Most are filled with nitrogen or dry air and sealed with o-rings. I never heard of pressurized. This Truglo had no o-rings.Aren't most scopes pressurized and nitrogen (or some other gas) filled? I think if I ever got water in a scope it would be time to get a new scope.
After trying a couple different scopes, I have settled on the Hawke XB 3x32 SR. There is roughly 1/4 to 3/8 inch clearance between the string and the illumination knob. The "arms" on the Bow Jax string dampener (that came on the bow) seems to brush the illumination knob. This is just with me cocking and uncocking by hand trying to keep the string in same plane that it would naturally be when shot. Looking for suggestions. Should I...
1. Leave it as is and not worry about it (I feel like the contact could affect accuracy)
2. If possible, move scope forward or back enough so it won't contact it (not sure I can get proper eye placement if have to move a bunch)
3. Slide Bow Jax closer to knock to possibly get clearance
4. Remove Bow Jax completely and use some extra limbsaver quads that I have
Thanks!
